DIFFERENT KINDS OF FURNITURE BOARD

Furniture panels can usually be divided into the following types:

1. Solid wood panels: made of natural solid wood, with natural texture and color, higher quality and good durability, but higher price.

2. Artificial boards: Made of artificial materials such as sawdust, particleboard or fiberboard, the price is cheaper than solid wood boards, but the quality and durability are lower.

3. Plywood: It is made of multiple layers of wood chips that are cross-stacked and bonded. It has excellent physical properties and stable dimensional stability, but its texture is relatively poor.

4. Medium fiber board: It is made of wood fiber and adhesive mixed and pressed. The surface is flat and smooth, the price is relatively low, but the strength and durability are poor.

5. Particle board: It is made of wood chips, expansion agent and adhesive. It is cheap, but it is not resistant to moisture and corrosion, so it is not suitable for long-term furniture production.
